Chatham University seeks a resourceful professional to assume the key role of School of Sustainability and the Environment Recruiter. In this highly visible position, you will be responsible for growing enrollment for graduate programs offered by Chatham’s School of Sustainability and the Environment (SSE). Current programs include a Master of Arts in Food Studies, a Master of Sustainability and a graduate Certificate in Sustainable Management, with new degree programs and an industry-leading sustainable campus planned for the near future. Responsibilities include:

- Developing and managing our yearly recruitment plan to increase program awareness, inquiry and enrollment

- Advising and supporting prospective students through the admissions process

- Creating and maintaining relationships with other schools, businesses, organizations, professional networks, non-profits and others

- Planning and executing travel to feeder schools, employers and essential conferences and events for enrollment, networking and visibility purposes br> - Preparing and presenting professional information sessions regarding SSE and the role of sustainability in a variety of sectors, both on- and off-campus

- Working with the university marketing department to contribute to the communication materials needed to promote the SSE and various programs/services offered by Chatham

The ideal candidate will be a passionate, energetic, highly service-oriented professional with a Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) and a proven, results-driven approach to sales, recruitment or admissions. Strong written and oral communication skills, particularly on the topic of sustainability, and the ability to articulate the value of sustainability in education and the workforce are essential. You must also possess the ability to leverage partnerships and collaborations to increase visibility of SSE and interest from potential students.
