|Job Title||Assistant Registrar|
|Chatham University, a thriving dynamic institution with three colleges and one school -- Chatham College for Women and the co-educational College for Graduate Studies, College for Continuing and Professional Studies, and School of Sustainability and the Environment -- invites applications for the position of Assistant Registrar.
The Assistant Registrar will manage the production of the University catalog, course scheduling, classroom space assignments, and cross-registration process. The Assistant Registrar will also create, run, and disseminate reports from the database, interact extensively with faculty, students, and staff, develop and communicate the related calendar of important dates to the Chatham community, process transfer credit evaluations, update students’ degree audits, and aid in the development of policy and procedures consistent with professional and legal standards. Other duties include daily registration processing, and representing the Registrar’s Office on University standing committees.
Bachelor's degree required, plus 2-4 years' work experience in records management or related higher education setting preferred. Significant knowledge of automated student record systems (preferably with CampusVue) is required. Excellent accuracy, attention to detail, communication, leadership, and multi-tasking skills will be expected, along with a working knowledge of FERPA regulations, ability to maintain confidentiality, and a commitment to a student-centered, team environment.
