Master of Education (MEd)
Chatham University's Master of Education (MEd) Program is delivered as a fully online program that focuses on helping educators and other academic professionals achieve leadership positions in the education field. With a curriculum based on Educational Leadership, the program is applicable to experienced elementary or secondary teachers, administrators, or professionals in higher education alike, with concentration areas designed to meet the needs of professionals across the spectrum of Education. Teachers will learn to develop and deepen their conceptual understanding while strenthening their instructional practices.
MEd Program Structure (30 Credits)
The curriculum consists of core educational leadership courses coupled with concentration tracks that speak to students' career progression. For educators, the Educational Strategies track will deepen their conceptual understanding and strengthen instructional practices through curriculum design and staff development courses. The Higher Education Leadership concentration will help prospective higher education professionals develop skills and conceptual understanding about multiple institutional departments within the context of the history of higher education.
