Linh T. Phung is an ESL (English as a Second Language) professional with expertise and experience in ESL teaching, ESL materials development, language assessment, and task-based language learning and teaching. She has presented at various international conferences and published papers on those topics. She holds a BA in English Education, an MA in TESL, and an EdD in TESOL. She has experience working with adult learners from diverse backgrounds in different educational settings. She has taught English to speakers of other languages at Vietnam National University, the Pennsylvania State University, Carnegie Mellon University, and Chatham University. She current serves as Director of the English Language Program at Chatham University. Under her direction, the program is evolving to meet diverse linguistic needs of Chatham’s international students and Pittsburgh’s international community.
