Amy Lee Heinlen’s poems can be read in Wicked Alice, Rogue Agent, Pittsburgh’s City Paper, and elsewhere. Her poem, “Light, Blue,” was awarded the 2016 Laurie Mansell Reich Academy of American Poets prize and appears on poets.org. She earned her MFA in Creative Writing and a certificate in publishing from Chatham University, where her manuscript, My Heart does a Cannonball, received the Best Thesis in Poetry award. Amy Lee is an Assistant Editor for Pittsburgh Poetry Review, a member of the Madwomen in the Attic, and an occasional book reviewer for Coal Hill Review and Catholic Library World, the print publication of the Catholic Library Association. An academic librarian, she lives and works in Pittsburgh, PA.
