July 2010 PT Grand Rounds Presentation - Cardiopulmonary

Pittsburgh, PA - Chris L. Wells, PT, PhD, CCS, ATC presented a patient case entitled "The Role of Rehabilitation: Heart Failure to Transplantation" at the physical therapy Grand Rounds on Thursday, July 8, 2010. The presentation focused on the continuum of care for patients with heart failure including review of heart failure, introduction of ventricular assist devices, and transplantation. The presentation described the role of rehabilitation in the medical management of this population.

Dr. Wells is an Assistant Professor at the University of Maryland.
