The Science Department is dedicated to its goal of preparing women for a career in Chemistry or for continuing education at a graduate school. The department offers a wide selection of courses leading to B.S. and B.A. degrees in Chemistry, as well as courses supported Biochemistry degrees. Our B.S. chemistry program is approved by the American Chemical Society, allowing graduates to be certified by the ACS. Students majoring in our programs also constitute the majority of the membership of Chatham's Chemistry Society.
