Programs for Academic Confidence and Excellence: Tutoring and Supplemental Instruction
Chatham University provides comprehensive services to assist students maximize their learning and academic success. Our experience has shown us that students who use tutoring and Supplemental Instruction (SI) achieve better grades than students who do not. And these services are free to Chatham students!
- Tutoring and Supplemental Instruction (SI) are available to undergraduate and graduate students currently enrolled in Chatham courses.
- Peer tutors and supplemental instruction leaders are all recommended by faculty and trained by PACE staff to provide helpful assistance with course content.
- Students may receive up to two hours of free tutoring per week in each course in which they are enrolled.

- In addition, students seeking assistance with academic writing may schedule time with the University writing specialist, who is available by appointment. The writing specialist assists all levels of students with all types of writing assignments. Please contact the PACE Center at x1523 or pace@chatham.edu to schedule an appointment with the writing specialist or to obtain more information.
