Occupational Therapy (MOT)

Application Deadline for Fall 2013 Enrollment:

• Early Decision Deadline: September 28, 2012
  Applicants for the early decision deadline must have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.4 on a 4.0 scale.  They must also have a minimum 3.0 GPA in their prerequisite coursework at the time of their application.
• Regular Decision Deadline: December 7, 2012

Early Decision Timeline:

1. Complete application must be received no later than September 28, 2012 (you will find the free online application at http://apply.chatham.edu/graduate)
2. Interview Day for Early Decision applicants will be on Saturday, November 10, 2012

Please review the application requirements for recommendation letter guidelines.  All recommendations must come directly from the recommender in a sealed envelope with the recommender's signature over the seal.  Transcripts are required from each institution attended, regardless of whether the coursework appears as transfer credit on another transcript.  transcripts must be official and sent directly from the institution's registrar.  For any questions regarding the submission of you application or admission requirements, please feel free to contact the Office of Graduate Admission at gradadmission@chatham.edu or 412-365-1825/800-837-1290.

Prerequisites

Although all applicants must satisfactorily complete the following courses in order to be eligible to begin the Chatham University MOT program, completion of all courses is not a requirement for submitting an application.  Please note that prerequisite courses must be completed within the past 10 years.

Regular Decision Timeline:

Physical Therapy (DPT)

(Must apply through Physical Therapist Centralized Application Service – www.ptcas.org)

Application Deadlines for Fall 2014 Enrollment:

• Priority Deadline: September 30, 2013
• Priority Interview Date: Saturday, November 16, 2013 (by invitation)

If the class is not filled, a second interview date will be held in mid-January with a deadline as follows:

2013 Application Deadlines:

• Fall Early Decision Deadline: January 15, 2013 (requires 3.5 gpa or higher)
• Recommended/Regular Deadline: April 1, 2013* (Applications completed after January 15 will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.)
