Academics

We offer 40+ majors in areas of study geared for tomorrow's economy and job market, including sustainability and the environment, women in STEM, creative and liberal arts, health and social services, business and entrepreneurship, international and political studies, and education.

Internships

Internships are a big deal to your college experience and your future career.
At Chatham, we require (and help you land) internship experiences that will enhance your professional development while giving you an advantage in the job market.

Career Plan

The individualized attention you'll receive at Chatham all starts with your career plan, which you can begin the first day you step on campus. Working with advisors and faculty, we outline the courses and experiences that will help you get to where you want to go in your career.

Leadership Development

Hardy Girls Healthy Women
To create a world of equality, health, and well being for all girls and women by overcoming and eliminating negative issues such as body image depictions of women in media, Chatham hosts student training events for Hardy Girls Healthy Women on our Shadyside campus. In partnership with the Girls Coalition of Southwestern Pennsylvania, Chatham women work with young women in our communities to create positive self images and healthy behaviors to help them throughout their lives.

Pennsylvania Center for Women and Politics
Taking on women's under-representation in all levels of politics, the Pennsylvania Center for Women and Politics (PCWP) at Chatham University is a non-partisan center devoted to fostering women's public leadership through education, empowerment, and action.

Center for Women's Entrepreneurship
Working to eliminate the pay gap and provide a support system for women business owners, Chatham's Center for Women's Entrepreneurship strives to provide the tools to help women become - and remain - strong leaders in business and industry.
