Students that have been accepted to Chatham College for Women will come campus to compete for various scholarships, even a full-ride valued up to $40,000! These scholarships recognize young women who have demonstrated leadership excellence in a variety of areas and are based upon the student's potential to contribute to the Chatham community. Awards may also be determined by test scores, grade point average, essay, interview, audition, or portfolio review.

Scholarships
Students may compete for the following scholarships at the event. Additional first year and transfer scholarship details.
- World Ready Women Scholarship
- 1869
- Presidential
- Visual Arts / Interior Architecture
- Girl Scout
- Minna Kaufmann Ruud
- AFS/YFU Rotary International
- Pennsylvania Governor's
What to bring?
Candidates should bring a resume, portfolio, dvd, etc. where to submit where applicable.
What to wear?
Students should dress in professional interview attire – no jeans please. If you are planning to tour the campus, do not forget comfortable shoes.
Guidelines
The following admission materials must be received prior to the event to participate in the scholarship competition.
- Chatham University application form
- Application essay
- High School transcripts
- Letter of recommendation
- SAT/ACT scores or supplemental materials
- World Ready Women Event RSVP
Transfer students out of high school for two or more years do not need to submit SAT/ACT scores or a high school transcript.
Early Action
Early Action Applicants will receive priority registration at the World Ready Women Scholarship Competition. The deadline to apply forEarly Action is November 1st at Midnight (EST). An estimated financial aid award will be provided in December for those students who are admitted.
Scholarship Notification
Students will be notified of their scholarship no later than March 15, 2011. Upon acceptance to Chatham University, every World Ready Women Scholarship participant will receive a scholarship for participating in the competition. Chatham scholarships are renewable annually for a total of four years or 120 credits. Students must be enrolled full time at Chatham and remain in good academic standing.
