Thank you for considering Chatham University! Founded in 1869, Chatham University is a coed university with a women’s college as its historic heart. Chatham University provides students with a solid education built upon strong academics, public leadership and global perception. Chatham’s 39-acre arboretum campus is located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The University’s 2,200 students have easy access to Pittsburgh’s dynamic career, cultural, and entertainment opportunities and can share in the educational and social offerings of the other nine area universities; such as the University of Pittsburgh and Carnegie Mellon University.
The University houses three distinctive Colleges: Chatham College for Women is one of the nation’s oldest colleges for women. The College for Graduate Studies offers women and men both masters and doctoral programs. The College for Continuing and Professional Studies provides online and hybrid undergraduate and graduate degree programs for women and men, certificate programs.
Our admissions counselors are prepared to help you make the most informed decision possible about your college education. To help with this process, we personally assign a counselor to all prospective students. Your counselor can answer questions, arrange for you to speak with current students, faculty and financial aid coordinators, and even assist you in the application process.
