Chatham University's 32-acre campus is located in a beautiful, safe neighborhood minutes from
downtown Pittsburgh, arts and entertainment venues, hiking/biking trails, and many other attractions. Pittsburgh is also home to eight other institutions of higher learning with a total student population of over 100,000—with several universities within walking distance. Chatham's magnificent park-like campus features towering trees, wandering paths, and timeless architecture, including century-old mansions that now serve as residence halls. The Office of Public Safety ensures that the campus is a safe and secure place to live and study. Pittsburgh has a lot to offer a Chatham student, from culture and art to a network of college resources. The city will provide you with many professional opportunities for gaining hands-on experience in a variety of fields.
Once you arrive at Chatham, the Office of International Programs (OIP) will orient you to the campus and to the many services that will be available to you. OIP will help you understand U.S. Immigration regulations and the culture of American classrooms, as well as provide you support as you adjust to American college life.
We encourage you to contact the Office of Admissions with any questions you have about Chatham, online through the website http://www.chatham.edu, by phone at 1-800-837-1290, or email at admissions@chatham.edu. You may also contact me at fayuninjam@chatham.edu or 412-365-1159.
