CU Online, Chatham's Online Alumni Community
Stay connected -- or reconnect--with other alumni using our online community. Register online for events, read about alumni who make headlines, and submit/search for class notes. Also, the CU Online alumni directory allows you to update your own contact information instantly! Accessing the alumni directory is easy. If you're already a CU Online community member, click here and login. If you are a first time user, click here to search for your record, select your name, and verify your record by entering your unique ID # (Email alumni@chatham.edu to obtain this ID#). Once you create a User ID and password, you're ready to begin.
Alumni Events
Whether it’s a relaxing picnic at Chatham's Eden Hall Campus, a career advice workshop, or a tour of the Heinz History Center's Vatican Splendors exhibit, the Office of Alumni Relations offers appealing choices to everyone. Also, each fall come back to visit and share your memories during Reunion Weekend. Reunion programming is designed to reconnect friends and foster new friendships.
Volunteer Opportunities

Class Notes
Class notes have a new home online! Moving class notes to an online format helps Chatham to provide alumni with the ability to share news more frequently, upload photos, and stay better connected to classmates and friends. This new online format also helps Chatham to meet its sustainability goals, saving over 300,000 sheets of paper each time an issue is printed. Visit Class Notes today to share your latest news!
Donor Report
Chatham expresses its gratitude to the many alumni, parents, corporate friends, and other donors who have contributed to the university each year. Acknowledging our donors on the Web rather than in print saves a vast amount of paper and reaffirms Chatham's commitment to sustainability and protecting the environment. Career Services
Chatham University's Office of Career Development, located in the Jennie King Mellon Library, offers the following services to all alumni: resume, cover letter, or CV critiques, mock interviews, and job search or graduate school preparation assistance. To schedule an appointment or for more information, contact careers@chatham.edu.
Howe-Childs Gate House
With advance notice, all alumni are permitted to stay overnight in our historic Howe-Childs Gate House for $100.00 per night (Please note: rates and availability are subject to change). Contact the Gate House at 412-365-2906 or gatehouse@chatham.edu for further details.
Athletic and Fitness Center (AFC)
Chatham offers two different Athletic and Fitness Center (AFC) opportunities for our alumni. For one year after graduation, any Chatham alumna/alumnus may use the swimming pool, weight room, basketball court, and other recreation facilities at no cost. To take advantage of this offer, contact the Office of Alumni Relations. Also, if you’re an out-of-town alumni member visiting campus, day passes can be requested for free use of the AFC. Chatham Recorder
All alumni receive the Chatham Recorder magazine twice a year. If for any reason you do not currently receive the Chatham Recorder, email alumni@chatham.edu.
Library Use
Lifelong privileges to the Jennie King Mellon Library on our Shadyside campus are available to all alumni. You will need a borrower’s card (issued by JKM Library staff) to check out our in-house materials, conduct research using our array of non-circulating periodicals and reference books, search the Chatham archives, or contact our helpful librarians for reference assistance. Access to private study rooms is also available upon request. Contact the JKM Library Reference Desk at 412-365-1670 or via instant message at JennieRef (compatible with any IM service).
