FAQs

+ Where are the Alumni Weekend events located?

All venues will be listed on the Alumni Weekend Schedule of Events. Also, when you arrive on campus and register in the lobby of Mellon Center, a pocket program will be provided to you that will include final locations for all events.

+ Where is my Class Party?

Alumni Weekend Ambassadors are recruited to plan Class Parties, encourage Alumni Weekend giving, and to promote attendance. We are currently searching for representatives from all classes. To volunteer to serve as a Alumni Weekend Ambassador for your class, contact Dana DePasquale, Assistant Director of Alumni Relations, at ddepasquale@chatham.edu or (412) 365-1517.

+ What do I wear for the weekend?

Your favorite purple clothes! If you need some new Chatham gear, The Campus Bookstore will be open and you’ll receive a discount for shopping over Alumni Weekend. We encourage you to wear comfortable shoes, suitable for walking around campus, and to dress in layers as you will be both in and out of doors throughout the weekend.

+ What if I need assistance walking?

Once you arrive on Chatham’s Campus, golf carts will be available to transport guests to campus buildings and parking lots. Please feel free to flag one down or wait at one of the designated pick-up stops.

There are marked spaces reserved for those with government-issued handicap tags throughout campus. We are happy to help you with any mobility needs. Please contact the Office of Alumni Relations at alumni@chatham.edu or 412-365-1517 to connect with a staff member.

+ What is Alumni Weekend Class Gift?

Your reunion only comes once every five years and Class Gifts are an essential part of our Annual Fund each year. A gift of any size made from July 1, 2016 - October 29, 2017 will be counted towards your Alumni Weekend Class Gift.

+ Can I designate my gift, and if so, will it be counted towards my reunion gift?

While we always encourage alumni to make unrestricted gifts to support areas of greatest need, all gifts for any Chatham program or department count towards the Alumni Weekend Class Gift totals. Contact the Office of Annual Giving if you have any questions about specific designations.
