First Year Natalie Vazquez Named Newcomer of the Year
May 19, 2010Three members from three different Chatham University athletic teams were honored in April at the annual Athletics Banquet. First year short stop Natalie Vazquez (Amherst, NY/Sweet Home) for the women’s softball team was honored as Newcomer of the Year for her outstanding play on the field for the Cougars this season.

Senior Maggie Leathers Named Senior Athlete of the Year
May 19, 2010Three members from three different Chatham University athletic teams were honored in April at the annual Athletics Banquet. Senior Maggie Leathers (Taneytown, MD/Francis Scott Key) of the women’s cross country team was one of these three athletes and was awarded Senior Athlete of the Year.

Cougars Finish Seventh in Rankings for PAC All-Sport Trophy
May 19, 2010The Presidents’ Athletic Conference (PAC) announced the final rankings for the 2009-10 PAC All-Sports Trophies. This year, Chatham University finished in seventh place with a total of 20.5 points – up one spot from last year’s rankings.
