Goaltender Liz Sawyer Ranked Ninth for Saves

PITTSBURGH, Pa. (November 1, 2011) . . . Chatham University first-year goalkeeper of the women’s soccer team, Elizabeth Sawyer (Saco, Me. / Thornton Academy) is ranked ninth for saves in the NCAA Division III nationwide. After ranking in the top 25 for saves five times this season, the Thornton Academy graduate has tallied 193 total saves with the completion of the Cougar’s 2011 fall season. Full story »

Cougars Battle Saint Vincent Despite Weather Conditions

PITTSBURGH, Pa. (October 29, 2011). . . The Chatham University women’s soccer team hosted President’s Athletic Conference competitor Saint Vincent College today. The Bearcats defeated the Cougars 8-2. Kickoff was delayed 45 minutes due to snow on the turf. Full story »
