First Year Natalie Vazquez Named Newcomer of the Year

Three members from three different Chatham University athletic teams were honored in April at the annual Athletics Banquet. First year short stop Natalie Vazquez (Amherst, NY/Sweet Home) for the women’s softball team was honored as Newcomer of the Year for her outstanding play on the field for the Cougars this season. Chatham’s Petty, Vazquez Named to PAC All-Conference Second Team

Two members of the Chatham University women’s softball team were named to the Presidents’ Athletic Conference (PAC) All-Conference Second Team yesterday. First year shortstop Natalie Vazquez (Amherst, NY/Sweet Home) and junior outfielder Barb Petty (Amelia, OH/Glen Este) were each honored with second team nominations. Full story »

Cougars Lost to St. Vincent in Final Games of Season

The Chatham University women’s softball team took on visiting St. Vincent College this afternoon in their final regular season Presidents’ Athletic Conference (PAC) doubleheader. The Cougars fell in both contests this afternoon, first by a score of 5-1 and then by a heartbreaking score of 8-7. Due to St. Vincent’s Division III provisional status, however, these results do not count towards the overall PAC standings. Full story »
