Living in the Residence Halls
By Sarah Rice
Today, my roommate is one of my closest friends on campus.
Our differences have come to complement each other in a perfect way. We are there for each other just as we were from the start of the year. I have also made some other amazing friends by living in the residence halls at Chatham. The memories that I have made with the people I have met at Chatham will stay with me forever.
If you have any questions about living in the residence halls, feel free to email me at chathamambassador@chatham.edu.

In my home, I also have my own room with my own space. Even though I am very very excited to be living on campus, sharing a room maybe one of the hardest things to do... and it may be the funnest!!! I am a picture person so that is what I will be doing most of the time!!

You’re right! It’s a BIG adjustment, but the friendships and experiences you will encounter by living on campus will create memories that you will never forget. In addition, an easy way to quickly adjust to your new dorm room in the residence halls is to decorate it as you would your room at home with posters and pictures…etc... Having a comfortable and “roomy” dorm room makes it more inviting and much more relaxed for studying and hanging out.
