Family & Friends Weekend 2018

Please join us for any or all of the Family and Friends Weekend activities. Most events are free; however, some events have a small registration fee. Unless noted, transportation is not provided but driving directions will be available at Check-In.

Registration is required and must be completed by October 15th.

Friday, October 26th

3pm - 6pm
Carriage House

Check-In

Check in and pick up your Family & Friends Weekend Packet! This packet will include important information for the weekend including schedule updates, coupons for the Chatham University Bookstore, and more! Show your Cougar Pride by participating in our Purple Power tee drive. Bring a shirt from another institution and exchange it for an official Purple Power shirt. All exchanged shirts will be donated to Goodwill.

Welcome Dinner

Don't miss the Family and Friends Weekend Dinner hosted with Parkhurst Dining Services. Each term Parkhurst hosts a themed dinner with trivia, prizes, food themes, decorations, and more. This is a great way to kick off the weekend with your student!

*Cost is $5 per participant if pre-registered. $10.50 at the door.

A Chatham Family & Friends Weekend tradition! You are invited to President David Finegold’s home for breakfast where you can meet and greet with the President's Council.  Hosted by Sue Finegold.

*Cost is $5 per participant.

Harvest FunFest

Come bring the whole family for fun and activities. Student organizations will host tables with that include: pumpkin making, cookie decorating, pumpkin bowling, inflatables and other fun activities! We will also be hosting our own Food Truck Round Up during the event.

Fall in ❤️ with Pittsburgh with Dean Waite: The Strip

Family, friends & students are welcome to join the Dean of Students on a fun trip out to Pittsburgh's famous Strip District. Spend some time shopping at the unique local stores, then join Dean Waite for lunch! Transportation is provided but families must register in advance.

For lunch options, check out the list of Chatham Student's Favorite Restaurants, which will be located in your Registration Packet! Or join us in Anderson Dining Hall for Brunch.

Chatham Invitational Swim Meet

Join us for the Chatham Invitational in the Sigo Falk Natatorium at 12 pm. The Cougars will be hosting Frostburg State University, Franciscan University and Juniata College.

Chatham Volleyball vs. Bethany College

Come out and support your Chatham Women's Volleyball team for their Senior/Alumni Game. Cheer them on to victory against Bethany College. Light refreshments provided.

Eden Hall Expedition & Dinner

Join us at our Eden Hall campus for tours, activities, and tastings. The event will include a reception and family-style dinner for all participants.

*Cost is $12 per participant.

Come out and support your Chatham Women's Soccer team for their Senior Game vs. Geneva College. Cheer them on to a victory!

Phantom Fright Nights at Kennywood

Prepare to be spooked! Purchase tickets to attend Phantom Fright Nights at Kennywood! In addition to your favorite roller coasters, you can also experience a variety of haunted houses and other Halloween-themed attractions. Transportation is on your own.

*Cost is $15 per participant.
