Information Technology
Information Technology provides technology resources of the highest quality to students, faculty, staff and administration. We are committed to providing technology and information resource leadership and services at the highest level of quality.
We value coordinated, consistent and high-quality customer services that are delivered responsively and professionally. We pride ourselves on the personal attention we provide to resolving problems and meeting campus needs for information, support, and service.
All students are provided with accounts to access network resources, email, Blackboard, and Campus Connect.
Campus Resources
Each residence hall room is equipped with network access (students must register with Information Technology and be ResNetted to access). Each residence hall also has a 24 hour computer lab available.
Many of the academic buildings are now also equipped with wireless access points, including JKM library, the AFC, the ADC, Dilworth Hall and the Braun, Falk, Coolidge complex.
As part of a new undergraduate program, begun in the 2005-2006 academic year, all incoming first-year students will receive a new HP Compaq tc 4200 Tablet PC. Use of the tablet will be integrated into the curriculum and enable the students to access the Chatham network via Wi-Fi areas throughout campus.
More information concerning computing at Chatham College is available on the Orientation for New Users site (O4NU). |
