Masters Programs in Infant Mental Health
Master of Science in Infant Mental Health Counseling (60 credits)
Chatham's M.S. in Infant Mental Health Counseling is designed for counseling student who will specifically focus their studies in the infant mental health field. With the completion of all 60 credits, a student is eligible to become a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
Master of Science in Infant Mental Health (36 credits)
Chatham's M.S. in Infant Mental Health is an advanced degree for students who want to enter the infant mental health field. Students will gain hands-on skills through practicum and internship experiences.
Program highlights:
- Curriculum is designed to meet the recently proposed Pennsylvania Early Childhood Mental Health Competencies for children 0 through 5
- Students will engage in community-based leadership opportunities
- Students complete practicum and internships in a variety of settings that serve infants, toddlers, and their families with Reflective Supervision by IMH faculty
- Programs feature opportunities to interact with nationally recognized leaders in the Infant Mental Health field
- Full and part time options available
- Six courses within the curriculum offered online, with the remaining courses completed on campus at Chatham University and in field placements
