PSB Nursing School Aptitude Examination Preparatory Course
The UPMC Schools of Nursing utilize the Psychological Services Bureau (PSB) Nursing School Aptitude Examination as a tool to measure your readiness for success in nursing school.
Chatham has developed an online preparation course to help you improve your math, natural sciences, or reading and vocabulary scores on the Entrance Exam. The course is available to students who have previously taken the PSB or students who would like to prepare before taking the exam for the first time.
The UPMC Schools of Nursing require a score of 80% or higher on the exam in order to be considered for admission.
The online course is 5 weeks long. Once registered, students will receive a Chatham University technology account which will enable you to access the course. Chatham online courses are asynchronous, meaning they operate in a 24/7 environment. Topics will address preparation for the exam and a refresher on content that will be covered on the exam.
Students wishing to enroll in the Entrance Exam Preparation Course should complete the online registration application below. Payment must be made by credit card at the time of the registration.
Please Note: The "Apply NOW" link in the left toolbar is not for registering for these courses.
At the discretion of CCPS, courses may be cancelled. CCPS will inform registered students of course cancellation by email and by phone. Students will automatically be registered for the next course offering, or can request a refund of their registration fee.
Registrations cancelled in writing prior to two weeks before the beginning of the class may receive a refund. Cancellations within two weeks of the start of class are not eligible for a refund.
