Founder and Chief Business Officer, Springboard Kitchens
Jennifer Flanagan developed and launched Springboard Kitchens in 2009 under the umbrella of Lutheran Service Society, raising over $600,000 in start-up and gap funding, and developing the food service and workforce development contracts now worth $3M annually. She assisted with the separation into an independently managed 501c3 in July 2012, and helped select the current CEO. She continues to be responsible for new business development, fundraising, program evaluation and development, and community partnerships.
Prior to joining Lutheran Service Society to launch Springboard Kitchens, Jennifer worked at an area nonprofit where she was responsible for assisting other nonprofits with the research, planning, launch, and development of mission-based businesses. Previous experience also includes securing and managing federal grants and multi-state demonstration projects for the health care and educational sectors, as well as 12 years spent in the corporate sector in marketing and communications.
