Interior Architecture Facilities
The Art and Design Center (ADC) is an adaptive reuse of the College's former Gymnasium. Built in the Collegiate Georgian style in 1952 and renovated in 2004, the main entry houses offices
for arts and design division faculty, as well as the College's photographic slide archives. A ceramics studio with a kiln room, sculpture studio with woodworking tools, and a materials
library for the interior architecture program now occupy the building's former dance studio.
The main gymnasium floor - which still includes the court lines - houses studios for painting, printmaking, interior architecture, and landscape architecture, a computer lab with plotter
equipment, and a gallery for displaying faculty work. Overlooking the studios is a steel and glass bridge that provides student exhibition space and connects semi-smart classrooms.
