Karen Brich Fund
Endowed Fund for Public Health Research
We are pleased to announce the establishment of the Karen Brich Endowed Fund for Public Health Research. This fund has been created to honor Karen’s commitment and significant contributions to the field of public health and to Chatham University. In consultation with Karen’s faculty colleagues in the Physicians’ Assistant program, including the former program director, Dr. Linda Allison, Karen’s husband, John Brich and her daughter, Sarah, initiated the fund, which, when fully endowed at $25,000, will provide up to three research awards per year. Prior to reaching that level, the fund will make available one research award per year.
The goal of the fund is to assist research efforts in public health - utilizing the broadest definition of public health - undertaken by the different constituencies on campus. Therefore, undergraduate and graduate students as well as Chatham faculty representing a wide variety of disciplines will be eligible.
Contributions to the fund can be made through the Office of Institutional Advancement, Beatty House. Please make checks payable
