Have you participated in the Sustainability Leadership Academy (SLA) in the past? Take your leadership skills to the next level as you train to be a mentor for the following week's SLA. Leadership II Participants are expected to also register for the full SLA week, when they will actually demonstrate their mentorship with new SLA participants.

During this intensive 1.5 day program, high school SLA II mentors participate in the SLA staff training program alongside Chatham undergraduate and graduate counselors. Training includes advanced leadership skills including teambuilding facilitation. SLA II mentors are expected to take on peer leader roles during icebreakers, teambuilding, and project development programming and workshops over the course of the main Sustainability Leadership Academy week.

1:00 p.m. / Icebreaker and Teambuilding Facilitation 101

4:00 p.m. / Advanced Leadership Studio with Chatham's Career Development Staff

7:00 p.m. / Door Name Tag Making, Ice Cream Party and Movie Night

This advanced leadership session costs $150 (in addition to the $1000 for the recommended SLA) and includes skill development sessions, mentorship training, teambuilding facilitation training, meals, transportation and accommodation.
