Through creative and fun activities, kids will build self-esteem, environmental and social responsibility, and learn about what they can do to live healthy lifestyles.

The forecast is calling for scattered thunderstorms on Sunday but that won’t dampen our CAN do attitude! In the event of rain, activities and performances will be moved inside.

All children 18 and under must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

Performances to be held at Hilda M. Willis Amphitheater
1:00pm – 1:45pm
Jeter Backyard Theater The Jeter Backyard Theatre promotes the educational practice and performance opportunities for children from Pre-K to High School. The kids are taught valuable skills in stage production and acting, and are accustomed to performing at least 8 full-scale musicals a year. JBT has competed in a number of competitions, including the national stage at the 2013 Junior Theater Festival four years in a row. Each individual actor and actress have received a number of awards for their performances, such as the Freddie G Award for Excellent Achievement in the Broadway JR. Slam competition, where students were expected to stage and perform a musical piece with a teacher they had never met before in only an hour. With each actor and actress bringing quality in his or her performances, the Jeter Backyard Theatre is sure to excite and amaze audiences of all ages.

The Josh and Gab Show - An Anti-Bullying Musical Comedy Program for Kids!
The Josh and Gab Show is a fun and lively show for everyone. Made up of a Pittsburgh-grown duo, Josh and Gab engage their audience with upbeat and exciting music that conveys a message against bullying in a new and thrilling way. Their performances have entertained and educated a wide range of ages in over 200 public and private schools, theatres, community venders, and camps both on a regional and national scale, entertaining over 40,000 youths and educators. Josh and Gab have also been featured on WQED and in national press for their work, along with winning a number of awards, including “Best in the Burgh” and “40 Under 40” from Pittsburgh Magazine, gained heavy airplay from WXPN Kids Corner radio, and recently partnered with The Pittsburgh’s Children’s Museums’ official programmers. The Josh and Gab Show bring with them a groundbreaking interactive performance to each show, and are guaranteed to be an educating and exciting experience for all ages.

In Between Theatre - The Most Epic Awesomest Superhero Movie Ever by Matt Henderson
A nerd, a jock, a budding teen novelist, and a geometry teacher all go through traumatic experiences and decide to become superheroes…or supervillains? They’re not entirely sure. Will they ever find out who's the good guy, who's the bad guy, and who's the damsel (or dude) in distress? Will special effects be added in postproduction? All will be revealed in this comedy about what it's like to be the hero of your own story...and maybe the villain in someone else's.
