Need some highly nutritious (and free) gardening soil? Join the Eden Hall Campus staff to discover the benefits of “closing the loop” with your own household food scraps in this interactive, hands-on demonstration of a healthy compost system. This workshop will provide participants with the knowledge and tools to safely and effectively compost in their own backyard.

Proper composting can result in a rich soil that is great for using in your garden projects, keeping waste out of landfills, and giving your scraps a beneficial use. Find out exactly what can be composted to have a healthy and safe backyard project that reduces your kitchen waste and revives it as a beneficial garden tool. Also included is a tour of the growing Eden Hall Campus!
