Prospective students will have the opportunity to engage in round-table discussions with faculty, current students and alumni while learning about Chatham’s MFA in Creative Writing program. Following the Open House, prospective students are invited to join our students and faculty at the Melanie Brown Lecture Series to attend a reading by Karen Bender. The Melanie Brown Lecturer Series is one of the exciting opportunities for aspiring writers to meet established authors, specifically writers of fiction, through Chatham’s MFA in Creative Writing program. The Melanie Brown Lecturer is presented each year through the generosity of The Melanie and Fred R. Brown Endowed Fund.
