Friday, October 20th

Check-In

Check in and pick up your Family & Friends Weekend Packet! This packet will include important information for the weekend including schedule updates, coupons for the Chatham University Bookstore, and more! Show your Cougar Pride by participating in our Purple Power tee drive. Bring a shirt from another institution and exchange it for an official Purple Power shirt. All exchanged shirts will be donated to Goodwill.

Welcome & Mystery Dinner

Don't miss the Fall Mystery Dinner hosted with Parkhurst Dining Services. Each term Parkhurst hosts a mystery themed dinner with trivia, prizes, food themes, decorations, and more. This is a great way to kick off the weekend with your student!

*Cost is $5 per participant.

A Chatham Family & Friends Weekend tradition! You are invited to President David Finegold's home for breakfast where Dr. Finegold and his wife, Sue, will show you the President's estate.

Harvest FunFest

Come bring the whole family for fun and activities. Student organizations will host tables with activities that may include: pumpkin making, cookie decorating, pumpkin bowling and much more! We will also be hosting our own Food Truck Round Up during the event.

Women's Ice Hockey Alumnae Game

Join the Chatham Women's Ice Hockey program for their annual alumnae scrimmage.

Date with the Dean: Carrie Blast Furnace Tour

As abandoned blast furnaces, and a historic landmark, the Carrie Furnaces are surprisingly beautiful. Transportation Provided.

For lunch options this evening check out the list of Chatham Student's Favorite Restaurants, which will be located in your Registration Packet! Or join us in Anderson Dining Hall. All family dinners are on your own.

Eden Hall Expedition & Dinner

Join us at our Eden Hall campus for tours, activities, and music. The event will include a family-style dinner for all participants. Transportation provided. Departs at 3 p.m. from the Chapel with returns at 6 p.m., 7 p.m., and after the ice hockey game.

*Cost is $10 per participant.

Phantom Fright Nights at Kennywood

Be prepared to be spooked! Purchase tickets to attend Phantom Fright Nights at Kennywood! In addition to your favorite roller coasters, you can also experience a variety of haunted houses and other Halloween-themed attractions. Transportation is on your own.

*Cost is $10 per participant.

Cheer on the men's ice hockey team at their FIRST game! We will have snacks, prizes, and more. All families participating in the Eden Hall Expedition can catch the shuttle from Eden Hall to the game.

Leave your mark at Chatham! Help in our annual tulip planting with your student. Then in the spring, your student will see the beautiful tulips and remember a great Family & Friends weekend with you!
