Volunteers
Make a difference as a Chatham Annual Fund volunteer
Chatham Annual Fund volunteers are ambassadors for the university, making important connections and encouraging classmates to participate in a tradition of giving back.
Each year, nearly 100 alumni serve in leadership roles for the Annual Fund. Volunteering is a great way to stay in touch with your classmates while helping keep Chatham accessible, affordable and challenging for current students.
How can you get involved? It's easy - read more about the opportunities below and contact Donna Holmes, Director of Annual Giving Programs, at dholmes@chatham.edu or 412-365-1262.
Class Agents
Class agents give a few hours a month to encourage their classmates to give back to their alma mater at every level, through e-mails, phone calls and letters. They are crucial in helping Chatham increase its number of alumnae donors, which sends the message to corporate and foundation funders considering Chatham that our alumnae think the school is worth investing in. There are currently 50 class years represented by nearly 60 class agents.
Annual Fund Leadership Committee (AFLC)
The Annual Fund Leadership Committee (AFLC) is a group of alumnae volunteers who work in conjunction with Chatham’s Annual Fund office to reach out through personal visits, phone calls, letters and emails on behalf of The 1869 Society. Each member of the AFLC is a leadership donor and encourages their sister alumnae to give as generously as they do during the fiscal year.
