In collaboration with the Partnership for Minority HIV/AIDS Prevention in Pittsburgh and the Sembène Film Festival, we will be screening "Come Back Africa." The film chronicles the life of Zachariah, a black South African living under the rule of the harsh apartheid government in 1959. Directed by Lionel Rogosin.

Free pizza, popcorn and soda will be provided.

A panel discussion will follow the screening.

This documentary chronicles the fearless, feisty and resolute "Rough Aunties," a remarkable group of women who were unwavering in their stand to protect and care for the abused, neglected and forgotten children of Durban, South Africa. Directed by Kim Longinotto.

In Freedom Park, a squatter settlement near the platinum mines in SA, a network of former sex workers create Tapologo. They learn to be Home Based Carers for their community, transforming degradation into solidarity and squalor into hope. Directed by Gabriela Gutiérrez Dewar and Sally Gutiérrez Dewar.
