College for Graduate Studies
The College for Graduate Studies offers women and men master’s and doctoral programs in the liberal arts and professional disciplines. First established in 1994, programs within the College for Graduate Studies include concentrations in arts and design, business, health sciences, teaching and writing. The distinctive degree programs are enhanced by small class sizes which foster greater student-faculty interaction and a dynamic learning environment. The health science and design programs are housed at Chatham Eastside, the University’s newest academic facility located less than a mile from Woodland Road. Many programs offer internship, clinical experience as well as study abroad opportunities as part of the curriculum.
With most classes scheduled evenings, students can better balance their personal and professionals lives with their time on campus.
The College for Graduate Studies gives adults the opportunity to enhance their professions or launch a new career, all within a unique learning environment.
*Accelerated Graduate Programs
Chatham students have the opportunity to earn a bachelor's degree in the major of their choice along with a master's degree in as little as five years. Qualified students may pursue a graduate program at Chatham University or through the H. John Heinz III School of Public Policy at Carnegie Mellon University. The Accelerated Graduate Program requires a demanding undergraduate load for three years, followed by full-time graduate studies. Incoming students should contact Admissions or consult their advisors as early as possible in their undergraduate studies for guidance in developing an appropriate undergraduate course of study. |
