Margaret Lehr Whitford

Class of 2007

Margaret’s essays have appeared, or are forthcoming, in the anthology Good Dogs Doing Good, The Pittsburgh Quarterly, MARY Magazine, and Brevity. She is co-editor with Sheryl St. Germain of Between Song and Story: Essays for the Twenty-first Century, recently published by Autumn House Press. She is the winner of the 2011 Best Writing award from the Press Club of Western Pennsylvania. Her thesis, Traveling Home, won Chatham University’s Best Thesis Award in Creative Nonfiction in 2008.
