Biography
Born and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Attended the University of Puerto Rico before joining the US Navy in 1974. Retired from the Navy as a Lieutenant in the Medical Service Corps after twenty six years of service. Graduated with a baccalaureate degree from the George Washington University PA Program in 1991 and a Master of Science in Medical Science with an emphasis in Rural Primary Care from the Alderson-Broaddus College in 1997. In 1998 began lecturing on a part-time basis to PA students in 1998. Eventually became a full-time assistant professor and in 2002 became the PA program director at the Anne Arundel Community College of Arnold, MD. Reported to his new position as Chatham’s PA Program Director in 2007.
