Chatham University to host Annual Spring Carnival on March 30
Proceeds to benefit Haitian Families First
PITTSBURGH (March 12, 2013) … Chatham University will host its free family-friendly Spring Carnival on March 30 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the Athletic and Fitness Center patio, which is located on the Shadyside Campus. Proceeds from raffle ticket sales and photos with the Easter Bunny will benefit local nonprofit Haitian Families First, founded by local women Jamie and Ali McMutrie. The organization was selected to receive the proceeds because its foundation of women’s leadership and civic engagement aligns with the Chatham mission to empower the women of tomorrow.
Also at the public carnival will be the annual Easter Egg Hunt, Magician Lee Terbosic, craft and activity booths, prizes, face painters, balloon artists, food, and more.
