Local Beer Release Party
May 19, 2014
5:30 PM - 8:30 PM
Church Brew Works - Hop Garden
As part of her thesis project, Food Studies graduate student, Elisa Loeser worked with a group of community members in Western PA to brew a 100% local, indigenous beer called Eden. Hops, yeast, and melted snow were sourced from the Eden Hall campus in Gibonia and grain from other local farms in the area.
The local beer team will release Eden to the public on Monday, May 19th in the Hop Garden of Church Brew Works, and they welcome Chatham community members! Come support local ag, local beer, and learn about the importance of strong relationships within food systems of the Greater Pittsburgh Community. Cheers!
*All ages welcome. Only ages 21+ can sample beer. Register here to receive a free sampling ticket.
