Treat yourself to a summer evening of elegant melodies that reach across the centuries! From Bach to Gershwin will feature the renowned Brazilian soprano and Pittsburgh resident Lilly Abreu, described by the Los Angeles Times as "… crystal clear soprano voice and dramatic persona." In concert with Ms. Abreu are members of the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra, Erina Laraby-Goldwasser; viola, Charles Lirette; Co-Principal trumpet, and Chatham University faculty pianist Pauline Rovkah. Held in the Hilda M. Willis Amphitheatre, concert goers will experience the height of musical accomplishment against a backdrop of rolling fields, forests, and the Eden Hall Campus heirloom apple orchard.
