6:30 PM - 8:30 PM

Workshop Session: Composting

Need some highly nutritious (and free) gardening soil? We are partnering with the Pennsylvania Resources Council to provide participants with the knowledge and tools to safely and effectively compost in their own backyard, complete with an 80 gallon Earth Machine Compost Bin for each participant to take home!

Proper composting can result in a rich soil that is great for using in your garden projects, keeping waste out of landfills, and giving your scraps a beneficial use. Find out exactly what can be composted to have a healthy and safe backyard project that reduces your kitchen waste and revives it as a beneficial garden tool. Also included is a tour of the growing Eden Hall Campus!
