Pathways to Sustainable Careers Speaker Series (On Campus)

Chathamís Rachel Carson Institute in partnership with the Office of Career Development is offering a presentation by a leading professional in the field of sustainability on the second Tuesday of each month from 5pm to 6pm in the Welker Room of the McLaughlin Music Hall.

Students and alumni can meet with sustainability leaders who work in exciting businesses on applied environmental issues. Students and alumni can see the pathways these professionals followed to success, and learn about career opportunities. Internships and student projects are available. Lectures are open to the public for $25.00 admission- includes refreshments.

Lectures are free to Chatham students and faculty- but RSVP is requested. Students can RSVP on my.Chatham and alumni and the public should RSVP to careers@chatham.edu.

Be a Refined Exceptional Professional Series (On Campus)

Attention undergraduate seniors! Please contact the student activities office studentactivities@chatham.edu for an application to be selected to participate in this series. Those students who are selected will have the opportunity to attend two events per semester designed to enhance your life, social, and professional skills including cooking, dining etiquette, learning about wines, must-read books, financial management, networking with alumni, and more!

Creative Careers Seminar

Typically held in October of each year at Carnegie Mellon University, this event is available for Chatham students. Students in the creative disciplines, from advertising and marketing to fine arts, will hear from and meet professionals in these creative fields during panel presentations and networking sessions. Health Careers Symposium (On Campus)

Have you ever considered a career as a Physician, Physical Therapist, Veterinarian, Physician Assistant, Occupational Therapist, Dentist? Maybe a career in Nursing, Public Health, Counseling Psychology? Join us for a networking event designed for those thinking about or aspiring to healthcare careers. Gather important information regarding prerequisites for professional school and planning a successful career in specific health fields. Held in February on campus, interested students should RSVP on my.Chatham.

Alumni Career Day (On Campus)

Held in February, Alumni Career Day is an opportunity for students to hear from Chatham alumni about their career paths, advice, and opportunities. Panel sessions, presentations, breakout sessions, and meet and great are most commonly part of the event. Students should register on my.Chatham to attend.
