Executive Master in Sustainability Leadership

The world's changing. And businesses must too.

As economic and social landscapes change, businesses are looking to sustainabilty to improve their short and long term viability. Corporate, government, and not-for-profit organizations need professionals who can stimulate positive change for sustainability, people who can lead transformative teams and communicate the value of sustainability to diverse stakeholders.

Chatham University's Executive Master in Sustainability Leadership (EMSL) program provides business professionals the knowledge and experience necessary to drive sustainable practices within organizations. In our unique program, students engage sustainability leadership through collaboration, teamwork, and practical exercises. We designed the 30 credit, 1.5-year program to support working professionals, utilizing online coursework that is supplemented by weekends and a weeklong summer session at Chatham's Eden Hall Campus.

The EMSL is more than just the fundamentals of sustainability; it's about applying those principles to champion change while learning to effectively communicate those efforts in the boardroom, to employees, and to your customers. Sustainability is not just a brand builder or goodwill gesture; it's an operational and strategic opportunity for your organization and your career.
