Biography

Katie Cruger earned her PhD in Communication and Rhetoric from the University of Colorado at Boulder. Her research focuses on Environmental Justice concerns here in Allegheny county as well as nationally. Katie is currently working on her first book on green (re)development in the wake of natural disaster. She teaches courses in environmental communication, media history, public relations, and strategic communication.
