The Golden Z Club unites outstanding college students from around the world in the spirit of service and leadership. Students participate in campus, community, and international service projects, explore career opportunities, and develop leadership skills. |

Mortar Board
Mortar Board is a national collegiate association honoring outstanding seniors. Students are elected to membership by the existing campus members on the basis of distinguished ability and achievement in scholarship, leadership and service to both the College and the community. Chatham’s Hood and Tassel chapter of Mortar Board received its charter in 1957. |

Chartered by Chatham Student Government in 1981, Omicron Delta Epsilon is an international economics honorary organization. The objectives of this society are to confer distinction for scholastic achievement in economics, to stimulate and promote student interest in all aspects of economics, and to uphold and complement the interest of Chatham College. |

Phi Alpha is the national undergraduate social work honor society. Phi Alpha fosters high standards of education for social workers and invites into membership those who have at¬tained excellence in scholarship and achievement in social work. The Lambda Kappa chapter was established at Chatham in 2002. |

Phi Beta Kappa
Phi Beta Kappa, a national liberal arts honor society, recognizes outstanding intellectual accomplishment and encourages future achievement. In additions to a high grade point aver¬age, a candidate should have a broad liberal arts education, with a major or concentration in one or more of the liberal arts or sciences and should show some promise of further distinc¬tion. Chatham’s Omicron chapter of Phi Beta Kappa recognizes that it is the individual’s responsibility to distribute her work to reflect a broadly based liberal approach to learning and commitment to future scholarship. |

Phi Sigma Iota, an international foreign language honor society, recognizes the study and teaching of foreign languages and promotes cultural enrichment and international under¬standing. This honor society was started in 2002, and established the Gamma Lambda chapter. |

Pi Gamma Mu is a national honor society that encourages excellence in the social sciences. Chatham’s chapter was started in the spring of 2003, and promotes awareness of the broad range of social sciences on campus. |
