Room Selection/Assignments

Most first year students live in Fickes or Woodland Halls on upper campus. Many students choose, in their second and subsequent years to move to the apartments on Fifth Avenue. First year students are matched based on the information self-reported on the roommate questionnaire. By hand matching roommates and not using an automated system like larger schools, we are able to match the reported living styles and to find compatible interests. After their first year, residents find their own roommates and pick their rooms through Room Draw in early April.
