Volunteer with the Office of Career Development

Chatham Connect A virtual community for Chatham alumni and students to connect through mentorship and purposeful conversations. Sign-up today to start connecting with more than 900 members of the Chatham community who have joined so far!

Welcome Aboard Mentor Alumni Mentors are paired with a first-year or transfer student for a nine-month-long mentorship experience.

Career Launch Site Host Speak to a group of first-year students about your current position, workplace, and industry during orientation in late August.

Internship Site Host All undergraduates are required to earn at least three academic credits through one or more internships.

Job Shadowing Help a Chatham student gain workplace experience in your field. The Office of Career Development will be in contact about upcoming opportunities.

Presenter for a Career Development Workshop or Professional Prep Course If you have an area of professional expertise (finance, human resources, training and development, coaching, etc.) or have perspectives and experience that you think would be beneficial for current students as they prepare for professional life, consider volunteering to present at a Career Development workshop or professional prep course. The Office of Career Development will be in contact about upcoming opportunities.


Volunteer on a Board

Alumni Association Board Member Volunteer your time and talent as a leader of the Alumni Association(application & election process) or volunteer for one of the committees.
