Maurice Abney, DNP, MBA, MSN, RN, ACNS-BC, PMP is the vice president, Clinical Informatics Officer for a large healthcare management systems with oversight for clinical informatics, project management, systems administration, workflow analysis, and implementations for 89 facilities. Abney has over 25 years of healthcare experience spanning from advanced practice nursing to executive healthcare consulting, systems engineering, project management, and leadership. Abney is an ANCC board-certified Adult Health Clinical Nurse Specialist and is a member of the ANA, ANIA, PMI, HIMSS. He also serves on the clinical technology advisory committee at the Center for Medical Interoperability. Abney is also a very proud US Navy veteran.
