Master of Interior Architecture Facilities
Chatham Eastside is the University's newest academic facility and represents a significant investment in our expanding graduate programs as well as the future development of East Liberty, one of Pittsburgh's fastest-growing and historic neighborhoods.
This LEED-Silver renovation project was completed by Rothschild Doyno Collaborative in July 2009. Our architects utilize sustainable design practices, recycled materials, and energy-efficient lighting to create an academic and social space within a green environment.
Less than a mile from Woodland Road, Chatham Eastside satisfies several programming space needs and provides the University with enhanced space flexibility and capacity.
The Interior Architecture programs enjoys state of the art facilities including a dedicated CAD lab for interior and landscape students, four design studios, a resource room housing only sustainable materials and plenty of open pin-up space for informal class meetings and critiques.
