Can students pursue the Master of Interior Architecture degree part-time?
Part-time enrollment is available but extends the length of time needed to complete the degree since coursework is sequential. Although many classes are offered during the evening, some classes are also offered during the day which may interfere with a full-time job. Please contact the program director for advising assistance.

When can students enroll in the Master of Interior Architecture program?
Enrollment typically begins during the fall term for students who plan to pursue the degree full-time. However, students can enter the program at any time. Due to curriculum sequencing, students who enroll in the spring may not be able to take certain courses until prerequisites are satisfied. Please contact the program director for advising assistance.

Can advanced standing be granted for students who have taken some undergraduate courses in interior design, architecture, art history, or studio arts?
Yes, courses in the Master of Interior Architecture program are sometimes waived for incoming students depending on courses they have previously completed. Please contact the program director for advising assistance.

Are students expected to purchase their own computer?
After the first year, each student is expected to purchase a personal computer and software to be used for various courses in the second year.
