Program Specific Aid
MFA IN CREATIVE WRITING FELLOWSHIPS
We plan to offer the following fellowships for 2008-2009.
The Margaret L. Whitford Fellowship: This fellowship carries a full-tuition remission for two years (approximately $12,000 per year depending on class load). This fellow will be expected to take a leadership role in the MFA student organization.
The Rachel Carson Fellowship: This fellowship carries a $10,000 stipend for one year with the possibility of applying again for the second year. Duties involve assisting the MFA Program Director.
The Fourth River Fellowship: This fellowship carries a $5,000-$10,000 stipend for one year and duties as managing editor of The Fourth River literary journal. May apply again for the second year. Tentative, pending budget approval.
The Writing Fellowship: This fellowship carries a $5,000- $10,000 stipend for one year. May apply again for the second year. Duties may include working in the writing center and assisting professors with creative writing classes. Tentative, pending budget approval.

Candidates must be eligible to apply for early admission (i.e., have a 3.4 overall GPA).

MASTER OF SCIENCE IN NURSING SCHOLARSHIPS
A limited number of scholarship opportunities are available for the MSN program. In order to be eligible, applicants must also fill out a FAFSA form at the time of application (www.fafsa.ed.gov (school code: 003244). For more information, please contact the nursing department at 412-365-2926
MASTER OF ACCOUNTING FELLOWSHIPS
Through a PNC grant, fellowship opportunities are available with the Master of Accounting program. Please contact Graduate Admissions (email@example.com or 800-837-1290), for more information about the fellowships, including guidelines for applying.
MASTER LANDSCAPE ARCHITECTURE & MASTER OF ARTS IN LANDSCAPE STUDIES
A limited number of tuition waivers are available on a per semester basis. Students exchange work on the campus grounds, an arboretum. Students work 198 hours in exchange for 3 waived credits of tuition.
